The Learning Galaxy is an innovative ed-tech platform that teaches kids core subjects through music, singalongs, and interactive activities. As the Social Media & Content Marketing Lead, I built the brand’s digital presence from the ground up and developed a full content ecosystem designed to increase engagement, improve retention, and drive sign-ups.

My Role & Responsibilities

1. Social Media Strategy & Execution

  • Redesigned and restructured the brand’s entire Instagram presence

  • Created new strategic content pillars focused on:
    • educational singalongs
    • parent-focused learning tips
    • printable worksheets & activities
    • science-backed learning insights

  • Developed engaging hooks, captions, and keywords optimized for SEO + Instagram search

  • Implemented high-quality reel covers and refreshed the page aesthetic

  • Increased engagement and reach through targeted posting strategy

2. Content Creation

  • Produced weekly educational content including:
    • singalong captions
    • science lessons
    • geography facts
    • worksheet promos
    • carousel posts for parents and teachers

  • Designed branded carousels and graphics that aligned with the Learning Galaxy visual identity

  • Created interactive graphics such as Learning Bingo, quick-tip guides, and “why music helps kids learn” posts

  • Repurposed content into multiple formats to maximize visibility

3. Influencer & UGC Outreach

  • Sourced and contacted parent influencers and UGC creators

  • Developed outreach scripts and partnership strategies

  • Secured creators to film singalongs with their kids for increased social proof

4. Website SEO & Blog Development

  • Wrote blog posts to support organic traffic (ex: “Top 4 Songs for School”)

  • Researched and implemented SEO-friendly keywords tailored to parents and teachers

  • Helped position the site for better ranking within the educational space

5. Email Marketing Setup

  • Built the brand’s first email welcome flow

  • Set up homepage pop-ups to begin list-building

  • Created an ongoing strategy for monthly newsletters, educational resources, and parent-focused value emails

6. Analytics & Optimization
